Robin Radar Systems’ technology includes 360-degree, three-dimensional radar designed for detecting and tracking small airborne objects such as drones.

The company supplies sensors intended to deliver consistent detection and classification in various operational environments.

Droneshield operates an ecosystem-led model for counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS), allowing users to select from a range of interoperable sensors suited to their operational needs, rather than relying on a closed or singular solution.

This model allows operators to choose the “right sensing technologies” that meet the needs of their environment, threat profile, and operational requirements as these factors change over time.

Central to the Droneshield ecosystem is the DroneSentry-C2 system, which uses SensorFusionAI technology to combine data from multiple sensors. This approach consolidates information into a single operational view, reducing ambiguity for operators.

With the inclusion of Robin Radar Systems, Droneshield offers additional choices to customers seeking radar detection within layered CUAS deployments.

The use of radar supports detection and tracking of airborne threats across large or complex areas.

Droneshield chief product officer Angus Bean said: “Operators need systems that adapt to their mission, not the other way around. By partnering with Robin Radar Systems and expanding our sensor marketplace, we give customers more freedom to design their airspace security architecture, while SensorFusionAI ensures that all sensor inputs are fused into insights that support decisive action.”

Recently, DroneShield expanded its industrial footprint with the establishment of C-UAS manufacturing line at an undisclosed location in the European Union (EU).
